A Professional Start: Graduation of Economic Investigation Service Officers

On 25 June 2026, the Law Enforcement Academy under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a graduation ceremony for trainees who had completed their initial professional training programmes for the Economic Investigation Service.

Over the course of six months, the future officers studied specialist subjects relating to combating economic crime, combining theoretical training with practical activities.

The graduation ceremony was attended by the Academy’s Rector, Nurgalyma Abdirova; the Deputy Chair of the Financial Monitoring Agency, Zhenis Elemesov; the Academy’s teaching staff; and the graduates’ parents.

During the event, 10 trainees were awarded certificates for their active participation in the Academy’s social life. A highlight of the ceremony was the conferral of their first officer ranks by the Deputy Chair of the Financial Monitoring Agency upon those students who had graduated with distinction. This important milestone marked the beginning of their professional service within the economic investigation authorities.

Addressing the graduates, the leaders noted the high standard of their training, emphasised the importance of serving the law with integrity, and expressed their gratitude to the lecturers and parents for their contribution to the development of these young professionals.

At the end of the training programme, the graduates were awarded their diplomas. They will now go on to serve in the regional branches of the economic investigation authorities, where they will be able to put the knowledge and professional skills they have acquired into practice.
