A course on strategic communications for staff of the Public Prosecutor’s Office was held at the Law Enforcement Academy

From 22 to 26 June 2026, the Law Enforcement Academy, with the support of the OSCE Programme Office, hosted a professional development course on «Strategic Communications and the Image of the Public Prosecutor’s Office: Interacting with the Media and Managing Public Opinion in the Digital Environment».

The training aims to develop skills for effective engagement with the public and the media, to build trust in the prosecution service, and to improve the quality of public information and outreach work.

The course will cover issues relating to strategic communications, social media, the use of artificial intelligence, the preparation of media content, and modern approaches to positioning state bodies in the digital environment.

Particular emphasis was placed on practical sessions covering the drafting of press releases, conducting interviews and briefings, reputation management, responding to information risks and organising crisis communications.

The training took the form of workshops, case studies and group discussions, analysing real-life situations from the practice of law enforcement agencies’ interaction with the media.
