On 7 July 2026, a working meeting was held at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan with representatives of National Information Technologies JSC («NIT» JSC), dedicated to the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process.
The event was attended by the Academy’s Vice-Rector, R.B. Alkenev, heads of departments, the teaching staff of the Institute of Vocational Training, and staff from the Department for the Development of Information and Communication Systems.
During the meeting, the prospects for applying artificial intelligence in the training of law enforcement personnel were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the introduction of an AI agent, which will serve as a digital assistant to lecturers in the development of teaching materials, practical case studies and assignments. It is expected that the use of intelligent tools will enable the automation of certain educational processes, improve the quality of teaching content and ensure a more effective analysis of learning outcomes.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to implement a joint project to introduce AI agents into the Academy’s educational activities. The pilot phase is scheduled to launch shortly and will mark the next step in the digital transformation of the law enforcement training system.
