On October 1 and 8, 2025, the School of Scientific Development at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted sessions within the course «Methodology of Conducting Scientific Research» focusing on the topics «Methodology for Formulating Legal Definitions” and “Practical Approaches to Creating Analytical Definitions».
The sessions were led by Stanislav Zhizhis, Head of the Academy’s Center. During the discussions, participants thoroughly examined doctrinal approaches and key aspects involved in developing legal definitions. Particular emphasis was placed on requirements concerning argumentation, legal precision, terminological accuracy, and logical consistency in drafting normative definitions.
Participants also analyzed practical examples of formulating analytical definitions, including the concept of «Inviolability of Private Life This training format fosters the development of scientific thinking, strengthens analytical skills, and enhances the quality of research conducted at the Academy.
