ASTANA – A PLATFORM FOR INTERNATIONAL DIALOGUE ON CONSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

On August 28-29, 2025, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Constitution and Statehood: A Dialogue of Law and the Future,” marking the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Conference Details

The first session of the forum, titled “Constitutional Guarantees of Equality, the Right to Defense, and Access to Justice,” was held at the Presidential Center. The event was organized by the Constitutional Court, the Ministry of Justice, the Presidential Center, and the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information.

Key Discussion Points

During the discussions, participants addressed the Constitution’s role as the foundation of equality and justice, modern mechanisms for protecting citizens’ rights, and the impact of digitalization on access to justice and the development of the “hearing state” model.

Academy’s Role
