On June 27, 2025, staff and master’s students from the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a legal education event for the children of the “SOS Children’s Village” in Astana.
The meeting was highly interactive. The children took part in a lecture called “The Law Is Our Friend,” where they learned about basic children’s rights, accountability for their actions, and the importance of following rules both in real life and online. The topic of personal safety was given special attention.
As part of the event, an educational scavenger hunt called “Collect the Safety Rules” was held. The children learned basic principles of safe behavior in a game format, practiced recognizing risks, and found correct solutions for various life situations. A video screening reinforced the knowledge they had gained.
Educating children about the law is a crucial task aimed at raising responsible and well-informed citizens. The Academy will continue to implement similar projects to strengthen a legal culture in society from an early age.
