Financial Security in Medicine: A Lecture for Polyclinic Staff in Kosshy

On June 26, 2025, as part of the national campaign “Week of Law and Order,” the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized an educational lecture at City Polyclinic No. 1 in Kosshy.

Scientific researchers from the Academy, Talgat Makhanov and Serzhan Temirov, spoke to medical staff about financial security and legal protection in their professional environment. They analyzed real-life fraud cases and gave advice on how to avoid becoming a victim of scams.

The audience included doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals. The main focus was on improving financial literacy, preventing the risks of online fraud, and teaching methods of cyber protection.

The speakers emphasized that financial security is a key part of a professional’s overall skillset. Modern medical workers must not only perform their professional duties effectively but also be confident in navigating legal and financial matters. They urged the medical staff to be vigilant, not to fall for scammers’ tricks, and to protect themselves and their families.

Attendees expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to discuss real-life situations involving fraud and other risks they face daily.

The event served as an example of effective collaboration between law enforcement and medical institutions in educating the public and preventing offenses in the social sector.
