On June 25, 2025, a public awareness campaign called “Legal Education for the Public” was held in Kosshy. The event, organized by the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was part of a broader effort to promote the ideas of the rule of law and respect for the law enforcement profession.
The event’s participants included staff and students from the Academy who conducted outreach among citizens. They focused on the importance of adhering to traffic regulations, personal and public safety measures on the road, and the significance of a legal driving culture.
Special emphasis was placed on developing a responsible attitude toward road behavior. Drivers were told that it’s important not just to know the laws but to understand their meaning and be prepared to follow the rules in real-life situations, showing respect for pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users. The organizers stressed that restraint, mutual understanding, and courtesy are the foundation of safe road communication. A legal driving culture is key to reducing accidents and strengthening trust among all road users.
