On May 28, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The document provides for the development of joint scientific and expert work, the implementation of educational and analytical projects, as well as the exchange of experience in the field of lawmaking and legislative improvement.
In his welcoming speech, the Rector of the Academy, Marat Seksembaev, noted the importance of sustainable cooperation between relevant institutions in order to strengthen the rule of law, develop a legal culture, and improve the quality of training. According to him, in modern conditions, joint scientific and educational initiatives are becoming an effective tool for implementing state legal policy.
The Director of the Institute, Indira Aubakirova, in turn, emphasized that the signing of the agreement symbolizes a new stage of partnership aimed at combining efforts to strengthen law, order, and justice as fundamental values of Kazakhstani society.
The meeting concluded with a tour of the Academy’s premises. Guests were shown the courtroom, the psychological relief room, the cyber center, and the prosecutor’s and forensic training grounds.
