As part of the upcoming International Congress of Lawyers “Law, Justice, and Fairness in the Modern World,” timed to coincide with the chairmanship of the Turkic Network for Judicial and Legal Training and the 10th anniversary of the Academy, a meeting was held at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan with representatives of the Scientific and Educational Center of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Talib Jafarov and Amir Odzhagverdiyev.
In his welcoming speech, the Rector of the Academy, Marat Seksebayev, noted the fruitful cooperation in recent years with educational institutions in Azerbaijan, as well as joint participation in international scientific and practical conferences and training and educational events. He also familiarized the participants of the meeting with the main areas of activity of the Academy.
During the discussion, issues related to the professional training and advanced training of professional lawyers and scientific research in this field were raised.
After the exchange of experiences, the Azerbaijani side was given a tour of the Academy’s premises, during which they were shown the courtroom, the psychological relief room, the cyber center, the prosecutor’s and forensic training grounds, and the dormitory for students.
Following the event, the parties expressed their deep interest in further strengthening their strategic partnership, expanding international cooperation, exchanging experience, and engaging in productive interaction.
