On May 13, 2025, the Academy hosted a guest lecture on the topic: “Constitutional control—the most important factor in ensuring constitutional legality.”
The event was held as part of the implementation of the National Plan “Ata Zhan – Tauelsizdik Tiregi” and was organized for the Academy’s students.
The lecture was delivered by Almas Kanatovich Kanatov, Executive Director for Regulatory Affairs at the Institute of Parliamentarism under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor.
The lecture covered key aspects of the Constitutional Court’s activities aimed at ensuring and protecting human and civil rights and freedoms. Particular attention was paid to law enforcement practice, the importance of court decisions in strengthening the rule of law, and the formation of sustainable constitutional and legal principles.
The lecturer presented the main provisions of his scientific works and publications on constitutional justice and legal theory, and shared the results of his scientific research and practical conclusions.
At the end of the meeting, there was an exchange of views: the speaker answered questions from the audience, gave practical recommendations, and noted the importance of educational and scientific cooperation in the field of public law.
The event contributed to a deeper understanding of the role of the Constitutional Court and the development of analytical thinking and legal awareness among the participants.
