The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies held a two-day training seminar on “Eliminating Administrative Barriers that Contribute to Corruption.” The initiative was implemented with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Astana.
The seminar brought together representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Anti-Corruption Service, the Financial Monitoring Agency, and the Academy’s teaching staff. The main goal of the event was to develop solutions aimed at reducing corruption risks in public administration.
The key expert was Raimundas Kalesnikas, an international specialist in anti-corruption activities. He conducted practical training sessions and shared advanced foreign approaches to removing administrative barriers. The interactive format allowed participants to jointly analyze existing procedures and propose ways to improve them.
Particular attention was paid to working in small groups, where specific proposals for reforming administrative processes in Kazakhstan were developed. This approach ensured the practical focus of the seminar and contributed to the formation of a productive dialogue.
At the end of the event, recommendations were presented on improving legislation and law enforcement practices. Participants noted the high level of organization and the relevance of the topics raised and expressed their readiness for further cooperation and exchange of experience with international partners.
The seminar confirmed the Academy’s status as an important platform for professional dialogue and the generation of effective solutions aimed at increasing transparency and trust in the public administration system.
