A new stage in partnership: the Academy and the University of the Prosecutor’s Office of Russia have renewed their agreement

Today, a meeting between the leadership of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies and the University of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation was held online. During the meeting, the rector of the Academy, Marat Seksembaev, and the rector of the University, Igor Matskevich, discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and updated the previously concluded agreement.

The agreement on cooperation in the field of education and scientific research, signed on October 28, 2015, was an important step in the development of partnership relations between Kazakhstan and Russia. The document aims to strengthen the legal system, exchange experience and knowledge, and train highly qualified personnel for the prosecutor’s office.

The renewal of the Agreement will allow cooperation to be adapted to modern requirements and will give new impetus to joint work in the field of training specialists. The Agreement provides for the implementation of joint educational programs, scientific research, advanced training and retraining of prosecution service employees, as well as the exchange of scientific and teaching staff.

The heads of educational institutions expressed their confidence that the renewed cooperation will make a significant contribution to the development of the scientific and educational sphere in both countries and will become the basis for further strengthening professional ties.
