“Not Child’s Play: 2.0”

In order to improve the information, financial, legal literacy and cultural level of young people, an annual International Financial Security Olympiad is held for schoolchildren and students from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and other countries.

The Olympiad is organized by the International Network Institute for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.

As part of the upcoming start of the stages of the V International Financial Security Olympiad for students of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, thematic lessons were held on the topic: “Not Child’s Play: 2.0.”

The event was attended by master’s students in the scientific and pedagogical field and the teaching staff of the university.

Teachers from the Academy’s Institute of Postgraduate Education spoke about modern financial fraud schemes and ways to protect against them. Particular attention was paid to the use of artificial intelligence by criminals.

The thematic lesson took the form of a scientific discussion with a debate on problematic issues, main directions, and prospects for development.

During the discussion, students noted the importance and necessity of continuing to hold events of this format.
