The General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a presentation of the results of an interdepartmental scientific study on “Certain issues of organizing pre-trial investigations under Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.” The study was conducted by a team of authors from the Interdepartmental Research Institute of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies.
The event was attended by representatives of the management and staff of the Service for Oversight of the Legality of Pre-trial Investigations and Criminal Prosecutions of the General Prosecutor’s Office. The study was highly praised for its detailed analysis of the problems arising in the organization of pre-trial investigations under the specified article.
Particular attention was paid to identifying systemic shortcomings in existing procedures and proposals for their elimination. The presentation included practical recommendations aimed at improving the criminal process and increasing its effectiveness.
The research results presented may form the basis for further legislative and organizational changes aimed at optimizing pre-trial investigations. The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies continues to actively work on topical issues of law enforcement practice, contributing to the development of the legal system of Kazakhstan.
