From November 29 to December 2, 2022, the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies and the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe conducted two trainings for employees of the Prosecutor’s Office and the police of the Republic of Tajikistan on combating human trafficking in the online space.
The Academy staff acted as national experts, key trainers and organizers of training events.
The participants got acquainted with modern trends in the field of human trafficking, forms of its manifestation, gained skills in working with practical tools for risk assessment, identification, fixation and seizure of evidence, investigation of such crimes through Internet platforms.
Considering that on November 25, the campaign “16 days of active actions against gender-based violence” was launched around the world, a special emphasis in the trainings is placed on the gender aspects of combating human trafficking.
