Lisa Johnson, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for International Drug Control and Law Enforcement in Europe and Asia, visited the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies today.
The participants of the meeting discussed the main directions and prospects of bilateral cooperation. They noted the high level of cooperation in the field of strengthening international security.
The US Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan is a long-standing and reliable partner of the Academy, with the support of which a number of international projects in the field of combating crime have been implemented. Active assistance was provided in the establishment of a Regional hub for countering global threats, the organization of international scientific and educational events.
The sides exchanged views on further cooperation, conducting training sessions in the field of combating corruption, drug trafficking and cybercrime.
- Johnson expressed interest in strengthening partnership relations and readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in the implementation of joint educational projects.
