Within the framework of the scientific research conducted by the Academy on the topic “Criminal identity: criminological research”, a visit to the East Kazakhstan region was carried out.
The Regional Prosecutor’s Office, correctional institutions and a Specialized Interdistrict Criminal Court were visited.
The personal files of those serving sentences and those under administrative supervision, psychological characteristics and forensic examinations, criminal cases and sentences (on sexual inviolability of minors, poaching, motor vehicle offenses and bribery) were studied.
The field conditions provided a unique opportunity for a comprehensive study of the topic by collecting the necessary practical materials. The results will be used in research work.
