The International Financial Security Olympiad will be held from May 16 to October 14, 2022.
The event is organized under the auspices of the International Network Institute in the Field of AML/CFT (Countering Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing), which is attended by the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies. The organizers are the Ministries of Education, Education and Science, the Federal Financial Monitoring Service of the Russian Federation.
Applications are open to students of grades 8-10 and students of universities in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
Registration will last until May 15, the first competitive events will be held online from May 16 to May 20. The list of finalists will be approved in September, the final tests – from October 10 to October 14 on the basis of the Federal Territory “Sirius” in full-time format.
In addition, a series of open lessons on financial security for schoolchildren is planned as part of the Olympiad events.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to increase the information, financial and legal literacy of the younger generation, search for talented youth, stimulate their educational, cognitive and research activities in the field of financial security.
Currently, the International Network Institute unites 31 universities and 4 research centers from 7 CIS member countries.
