A well-known Islamic scholar and religious figure Shamil Alyautdinov held an online lecture for students and employees of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies.
Shamil Rifatovich focused on topical issues of combating religious extremism, strengthening the role of the clergy in the implementation of the state strategy to counter potential threats of terrorism.
As the lecturer noted, the most important condition for minimizing radical manifestations and the spread of extremist ideology among young people is spiritual and moral education.
Educational work should be aimed at raising the religious literacy of the population, awareness of the true goals of extremists, the formation of intolerance to the activities of destructive groups.
In the context of the development of professional skills among graduates of the Academy, the importance of knowledge about the mechanisms and technologies of combating potential threats, studying international experience in the prevention and suppression of religious extremism was noted.
