An international seminar was held as part of the exchange of experience in countering crimes committed using the Internet.
The event was organized by the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies together with the University of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation for prosecutors, special prosecutors, investigators of internal affairs bodies conducting criminal prosecution in cases of cybercrime and drug trafficking.
The audience got acquainted with advanced methods of detecting and investigating drug crimes, Internet fraud, terrorism and extremism, as well as offenses using cryptocurrencies.
The audience was addressed by leading experts from the Prosecutor General’s Office and the University of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, as well as national trainers from the Prosecutor’s Office, internal Affairs and the Academy.
Russian experts highlighted the legal aspects of criminalization of information crime, shared their experience in using progressive tools for investigating cybercrimes, modern systems for detecting and preventing computer attacks.
