The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies organized a round table on the optimization of criminal and criminal procedure legislation.
The event was attended by well-known legal scholars, representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office, leading law and departmental universities, research institutes, republican and regional bar associations.
The problematic issues of optimizing the forms of pre-trial investigation were discussed. The need for optimization is supported by all forum participants.
For example, Professor Marat Kogamov proposed to combine the protocol form with the protocol production, calling it protocol production, with the development of an appropriate regulatory resolution of the Supreme Court.
Regarding the prospects for the development of the institution of criminal offenses, opinions were expressed both on the need for its improvement and on the inexpediency of maintaining offenses in the system.
At the end of the meeting, the participants exchanged information about the ongoing research on the topic of the round table, expressed their readiness for further productive ruitful cooperation in the scientific field.
