An interdepartmental seminar on the application of criminal law with the participation of undergraduates and doctoral students was held at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies in a remote format.
The main purpose of the event is to unite the efforts of young scientists to discuss current scientific problems, improve legislation and solve priority problems of law enforcement practice.
The seminar was attended by scientists, law enforcement officers, representatives of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, as well as graduate students of the Dnepropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Scientific discussions were held around such issues as criminal law counteraction to the provocation of crime, prevention of domestic murders, responsibility for domestic violence, qualification of criminal bankruptcies.
Young Ukrainian scientists made a comparative legal analysis of the criminal legislation of Kazakhstan and Ukraine in terms of responsibility for leaving in danger, the concept of “criminal offense” under the criminal codes of the two countries.
As a result of the seminar, specific recommendations on the application of criminal legislation were formulated.
