The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies hosted the opening of the training course “University of Culture”.
The training program was developed as part of the implementation of the Address of the Head of State “Kazakhstan in a new reality: time for action” and is aimed at cultural and aesthetic education of listeners and students.
Opening the event, the Rector of the Academy Yergali Merzadinov noted the relevance of the course topic, the importance of the formation of modern cultural, ethical and aesthetic competencies among young law enforcement officers, as well as those entering the service for the first time.
The representative of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Riga Onayeva, read out the greeting of Minister Aktota Raimkulova in connection with the opening of the courses.
The importance of the revival of public consciousness, its adaptation to modern requirements, outlined in the article of the first President Nursultan Nazarbayev “Looking to the future: Modernization of public consciousness”, said Gultas Kurmanbay, professor of the Nazarbayev University.
Well-known experts and specialists of cultural institutions, art institutions, universities, theater figures will be invited to conduct trainings.
This course is included as an additional elective to the curriculum.
