The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies has started creating universal training video courses “Countering human trafficking in the Republic of Kazakhstan” and “Countering the legalization of criminal Proceeds and the return of stolen assets” on the basis of the Regional Hub for Countering Global Threats.
The development of new educational programs is supported by the US Embassy in Nur-Sultan, the OSCE Program Office and UNODC.
The concept of video tutorials on combating human trafficking is a three-hour training for prosecutors and police officers, which covers the main international components of the fight against human trafficking: prevention, prosecution, assistance, partnership.
The video course on the problems of countering the legalization of criminal proceeds is aimed at students from among the employees of the anti-corruption service, financial monitoring, internal affairs bodies, the prosecutor’s office and judges.
It includes the modules “Money Laundering”, “Internal investigation in banks”, “The role and capabilities of financial intelligence units”, “National and international interagency cooperation of financial intelligence units”, “Open Sources of information”, “Analytical Model”, “Search, seizure and confiscation of criminal proceeds abroad”, “Confiscation of criminal proceeds”.
The video format is aimed at effective independent study of the material and obtaining the maximum learning effect.The educational platform contains all the components inherent in the educational process and includes a wide range of options for shooting video lessons — recording live speech of experts,visualization of the material, animation, video and photo exhibitions, display of visual material, etc.
The content of the trainings will allow students to master thematic lessons on their own, develop independent work skills.
